Two-phase Flow Instabilities Facility

The Two Phase Flow Instability facility started operation in 2012 after almost 4 years of design and construction. Since then, the facility has been in operation with the goal of advancing the understanding of heat transfer during flow boiling in steady and transient conditions. The facility is equipped with a single channel horizontal test section, a 5 parallel horizontal channels test section, and a 5metres vertical test section.
